I am a Spanish family lawyer with residence in the Costa del Sol, specialized in international family law and child protection. My practice is mainly focused in advising clients on all issues arising from the breakdown of a relationship including divorce, financial settlements, disputes relating to children, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and disputes.
I am particularly trained and experienced in dealing with cases involving different jurisdictions, due to the national law of the spouses and the residence of the family, and the advise and assistance in litigation before the Spanish Courts in divorce proceedings of high net worth international clients. I am also particularly involved in advising clients on international children’s issues including international relocation, custody, residency, visiting rights and child abduction matters.
I am fluent in Spanish and English, and I am proud to have an intense collaboration with relevant international law firms (in U.K, Sweden and Germany, among other countries), which allows me to provide services to a wide range of foreign individuals with residence in Spain. My professional goal is to provide my foreign clients with a personal and direct but also internationally opened legal advice when experiencing relationship breakdowns. Despite my experience in litigation before the Courts, I do recognize the benefits of alternative dispute resolution and try to provide practical and common sense advice to my clients in order to avoid costly litigation where possible.
